Three New Appointments to SJK

President Dobler announced Monday three new appointments to the Sheldon Jackson College community.

Camielle Call, LCSW, presently Assistant Professor of Human Services, has accepted the additional appointment of Grants Administrator. Camielle brings solid administrative experience in the non-profit sector and in grants management.

Holly Keen, formerly Information Specialist, has accepted the position of Director of Communications. Holly will direct the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of the communication efforts for the College. The Grants Administrator and Director of Communications positions serve under the Office of the President.

Dr. David Harrington, Academic Dean, is taking his sabbatical year beginning July 1, 2006. SJC is pleased to announce that Dr. Mary Louise Van Winkle, presently interim Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Adirondack Community College in Queensbury, NY has accepted the appointment as Interim Dean.

Dr. Van Winkle earned her BA from Wellesley College, Ed.M. and Ed.D. from Harvard. An elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Poughkeepsie, NY, Dr.Van Winkle has extensive experience in academic administration, program development, telecommunications and instructional media. Dr. Van Winkle is serving until the new Vice President arrives in mid-July, and then join the College before the fall faculty convocation.
